That's unlucky for them @Former-Member
Yes, I will let you know.
Thank you. It's been going on for so long. I'm not sure why what my osteo is doing isn't helping.
Yes, it was good @Former-Member
I hope you slept well last night. What are you doing today?
I'm about to wash up, get dressed, and do some study.

Good morning @Birdofparadise8 ☺️🌺
Yes I’m hoping they can get some good treatment and it gets better. I’ve had a ruptured acromioclavicular joint and it is limiting with regards to shoulder stability.
SI joint instability is inherently difficult to fix… there aren’t big muscles directly surrounding the joint to compensate for the loss of joint stability with inflammation, sprain, or laxity as far as I know, and these joints rely on good harmonious function of a bunch of surrounding attached muscles .. here’s an interesting concept that you may like to discuss with your practitioners..? 🙂🌺
I haven’t used it myself (I have metal parts throughout my pelvis including crossing over both sacroiliac joints after physical trauma so none of these apply to my situation), however I was just having a look around at what might be out there 🙂
I have a bit of reading to do today, for research projects, then I’m attempting to clean house, and I’ll do the laundry and maybe make a treat.. if I do that I’ll post on our Cook Along thread and tag you 😊
I hope study goes well today, and do let me know how that second calculus site works out if you’d like to 💜🙂🌺

Is that a fancy way to say a shoulder dislocation? I heard after the game that his shoulder popped out.
Yeah, all my butt and quad muscles are very tight, yet I'm very flexible. She said my hips are very flexible as well. I also have flat feet, and my hip also makes a clicking noise when I move it, lying down and lifting my knee up.
That link is helpful, thank you. I have already done some of those exercises, so they are good.
Did you have a bad injury to need metal in your pelvis? Did you have a hip replacement?
What do you think you'll make?
Yes, I'll do some revisions over the next week and see how it goes. @Former-Member
Hahaha so you converted them @ArraDreaming

There are more than one ‘joints’ that form the shoulder; the ‘synovial’ bit where the proximal head of the humerus sits against the glenoid fossa of the scapula forms the bit everyone things of as the shoulder joint, however this is just the most mobile, articulating part that gives rise to movement (and the head of the humerus can be dislocated away from the glenoid fossa in any direction - commonly what people often have and know as a ‘shoulder dislocation), which is the most mobile part, and there is the acromioclavicular joint, which is also a synovial joint, but with only gliding movement in one plane, and much shorter ligaments surrounding it to form a firmer stabilisation. It is located superioanteriorly to the glenohumeral articulation (ball and socket of the shoulder where the arm attaches). This joint can rupture with a humoral dislocation. Quite painful, and gives rise to compromised stability of the entire ‘shoulder complex’ 🙂
I hope that helps? Any fundamental anatomy text has this info in it, if you’d like to review if it’s interesting..? ☺️
So, if any word is of a shoulder popping out, it could be a pure dislocation (totally not located properly) head of humerus from the glenoid fossa, or it could mean a rupture (separation) of the AC joint, or a combination thereof.
the only way to accurately find it is with excellent physical (hands on) examination, or an X-ray/other imaging.
There are other ligamentous structures that hold everything in the right place besides these two main structures, but for specificity here, we will leave them aside for now 🌺🙂
Sounds complex regarding the mobility and laxity in joints you’ve described, and muscles lock down to try to complements for fundaments loss of stability - which is what joint capsules combined with ligaments are supposed to do, and muscles are really there to give secondary support along with movement (muscles aren’t meant to provide primary joint stability).
Yes, sweetheart..I had a very bad injury… I was put back together with metal and stitches in most places darling 🙂🌺💜
I haven’t had a hip replacement, however both hips (top of leg at pelvis joints) have been resurfaced and repaired around the joint capsules and the bone chips removed from that area) 🙂
I think I might make choc blueberry muffins 😀😋
ok I hope the revisions go well, and smoothly for you BoP 🤗🌺

Good idea it will be loud @ArraDreaming
Right, okay, thank you for that info. I did understand bits and pieces of what you said @Former-Member
Yeah, my hip locks up, and when I move it, I get that pop sound.
That sounds nice. I hope they go well. I personally don't like blueberries, so I would do raspberries.

No worries @Birdofparadise8 🙂🌺
The biomechanics of shoulders is very complicated in terms of how the joint works in different positions to stabilise the arm, and with an impact when the arm is in any position can cause damage, unfortunately, because of the deficit in stability to maximise mobility and range of motion (how our shoulders have developed to make our arms super versatile).
That’s interesting regarding your hip - those things sometimes lean towards instability of some sort, from what I’ve learned..? Has a doc done an imaging test like CT or ultrasound to determine if you have a soft tissue injury..? 🤔🙂🌺 might be worth speaking to a doc about it, manual therapy interventions and natural healing processes aren’t getting you where you need to be, do you think..? 🙂
Thank you - yeah, dark choc and raspberry is such a lovely muffin combo. Or even making brownies with crushed raspberry is so yum 😋
I have too many blueberries so I’ll cook them today in the muffins 🙂🌺
