Could the forum be structured with a few more sections?
Eg 1) chat section ... that way light hearted and deeper conversations can be kept separate if needed
2) new people and place to introduce oneself section ... that way it would be easier to follow through on new posters and their first posts would be less likely to get lost
3) Glossary section ... as has been asked for before ??

Hi @Appleblossom. Really like the idea of having a section for the light hearted stuff. It saves the issue of people potentially being triggered if they're feeling a bit vulnerable but still after some company. It can also be a bit awkward if you unknowingly walk in on something and haven't guaged the mood so say the wrong thing.

he did not mean contributing in the same spaces ... he meant a chatting ... text-chat ... LIVE chat ...
for a less formal SENDING, something to be read, needs to be of readable quality, presentable quality, kind of differentiation.
a LIVE, chat space, you might say, allows for quick Q.s , if anyone's there, that is... and for a breath of rooms, in which to socialise, in text-chat.
THAT's what you meant, is it not?
glossary's a good idea.

He did not mean 'contributing' in the same spaces, as is...
a chattING... text-chat... LIVE chat.
less-formal SENDINGs - unlike things to be read, article like, magazine like, that need to be of readable quality, presentable quality. that kind of differentiation should lead you away from ONLY article-like formats, but he meant something specific, u with me?
a LIVE, chat space, you might say, or a 'traitional chat' ... allows for quick hellos, redirections, Q.s , if anyone's there, that is... and for a breath of rooms, in which to socialise, in text-chat.
THAT's what you meant, is it not?
glossary's a good idea.

Hello @35orso,
There is a livechat option on our webpage although this is to talk to someone who is a health professional and recieve support that way.
Unfortunately a live chat between members would be difficult to moderate, and the aim of having this space is to keep members safe so they can receive helpful support.
