Hey @WhiteTygrr79 ,
Thank you for sharing. I'm so glad to hear that things have improve. It sounds like it's been one massive rocky journey for you.
I can totally relate to the idea of working out who you are and what you want to do etc.
Have you heard of SANE's Guided Recovery or Recovery Club? I wonder if that will help?
SANE’s Guided Recovery – this is a 1:1 program that runs for approximately 16 weeks.
SANE’s Recovery Club – these groups are held via Zoom and focus on a range of recovery topics.
I'm thinking that the Recovery Club has a group about 'Identity' which may be helpful for you. That is, to determine your identity as part of mental health recovery.
These are free of charge and you can pretty much sign up any time and register for a group.
What do you do to keep well yourself?

Hi, I've just registered for the Recovery Club and thought I would also check out the forums. I have been struggling with MDD and PTSD, especially over the last couple of years after an incident that triggered/exacerbated my PTSD symptoms. I was actually doing quite well before 2023. I've been isolating myself due to extreme fatigue and not feeling safe around people. I'm not even comfortable around my friends at the moment, as I'm so drained by what I'm dealing with and I don't have the energy to explain - nor do I want to. I think it would be helpful to connect with others who are experiencing similar things.

Welcome to the forums @beeboop !
It's great to have you with us.
I can totally relate to what you are saying in terms of feeling so fatigued, so it is understandable that social situations can be a bit too much.
By connecting on the forums, I hope you find a way to ease yourself into connecting with people once again, and hopefully, it can fill some of the social 'void' (not sure if this is the right word to use).
What are things you enjoy doing?

Welcome @beeboop!
It's so lovely to have you here.
I know things are feeling rather heightened for you at the moment and I want you to know that you are not alone. When trauma is retriggered it's more than understandable that the mind and body would be needing extra nurturing and attention. Perhaps connecting with our community will help to re-cultivate that sense of safety with others?
But what do you think you need most right now? Let's start there. 💛

Thank you 🙂 @tyme and @AuntGlow
I think 'void' is definitely appropriate.
I used to enjoy art. I've been trying to get back into it again, but it's been difficult with the fatigue and brain fog. Even just stringing these sentences together is a challenge. But hopefully I can keep making baby steps and see some progress, eventually.

Feel free to share some of your ideas here if you want Hobbies and Projects @beeboop . I guess it's always a bonus to be able to connect with others about things you enjoy.
I hope things improve in terms of the brain fog and fatigue. It sounds like it can really impact your daily functioning.

Hi guys. I'm Nick. I'm just going to say something so obvious. Why is it always everyone is always getting help and then there's always all these problems?

Art can be so healing, I love this. What kind of art would you like to create from where you're at right now? @beeboop 💛

@AuntGlow I've just discovered how to create mandalas in Procreate, so I'm thinking of trying that this afternoon if I'm not too tired. I like mindlessly doodling while listening to music or something on YouTube - it's just hard not to feel guilty that I'm not really doing anything productive 😬
