Hi all recently dealing with manipulation and control from my bf mother, she yelled at me on the phone because I didn't reply to text and said have I got a problem then I blocked her and broke up with bf but got back with him only to then have her call my bf up and bribe me to apologise to her otherwise I can't stay the night with my bf given we our adults and she moved out, but I come back to his and the camera she set up at old place is on and I started say I am down and sad about his mum and boyfriend says it's okay just fake apologise and she hears this on camera! Our secret discussing and yells at bf on the phone, then he leaves for an hour to get her favourite donuts and I am stuck there wandering to call someone to pick me up and bf comes back I am forced to apologise to her on phone she is horrible to me. So this week I broke up with him can anyone offer a counselling site that is bulk billed. I am distraught. Is this sociopath behaviour of the mum?

Hey @Beauty ,
Long time no see.
I'm sorry you have had to experience this. It sounds incredibly tough to have someone you feel is invasive.
I don't know any bulk-billed counselling services. However, some workplaces can provide counselling through their EAP program. I'm not sure if this applies to you?
Also, have you contact 1800RESPECT?

Have you looked into SANE's Recovery Club? It's not counselling, but you can have a look to see any of the recovery topics might be helpful for you? https://www.sane.org/recovery-club @Beauty

Sorry to hear of your situation...
In addition to the other replies, you can discuss the situation with your GP and ask for a mental health care plan. This provides you with access of up to 10 bulk billed sessions with a qualified psychologist of your choice. Hope that helps😊
This is one that I have used:
