Great work on your creative pursuits @Oaktree @Froggyhops! I love your colouring @Froggyhops - very talented! @Oaktree Your painting is amazing! I really like what you have included in the picture. As for the latch hook activity, you reminded me of a hobby I used to do many years ago when my mum was alive. She used to love doing this and making rugs for herself and others to the point where she purchased the fabric and cut up wool to make her own rugs in the end. I remember being fascinated with the latch hook tool trying to learn how to use it and was very proud of myself when I could use it to do my own projects. I did some Disney kits many years ago from Spotlight such as Pooh Bear back in the day.
Lately, I’ve been working on my cat diamond art canvas from Kmart that I purchased over a month ago - it’s been over 2 weeks since I started it and I’m really enjoying working on it. I like to do a little bit of it each day to help me relax and chill out while listening to music. I’m planning on taking a butterfly kit with me on Tuesday when I have a respite holiday in Echuca for a few days - just sitting and listening to the birds and paddle steamers go up the Murray River whilst working on the project will be pure magic for me and a nice way to relax! I’ll post a photo at the end of next week to show you all what I’ve completed with the project!
